Proceeds from the annual Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival are invested in projects within the Coupeville Community. Since 1964, the Coupeville Festival Association has donated over a half million dollars to local projects. Coupeville organizations that have benefited from CFA funds include The Town of Coupeville (paving, stairway down to the public beach, public restrooms, etc.), Coupeville Garden Club (the planters holding those colorful, seasonal plantings), Island County Historical Society (archiving shelves), Coupeville School District (trips to Seattle Repertory Theatre, National History Day, 4th grade book publishing projects, etc.) Boys and Girls Club, Coupeville Farmers Market, Coupeville Historic Waterfront Association, Gift's from the Heart Food bank, Keepers of the Admiralty Head Lighthouse, Penn Cove Water Festival, Readers are Leaders, Readiness to Learn, Senior Services of Island County (improvements to CamBey), Whidbey General Hospital (memorial grounds), WSU Coop Extension Office, Coupeville Library, Coupeville Arts Center, and many more.
